Annually, Marvelous Mo’ and her grandparents take a trip to a dear friend’s house — Boots is her name. Boots calls Mo’ “Boss” as in together they are Boss N Boots.. Bossy Boots. Welp. Boots turned 99 years old yesterday. Mo’ turned 7 yesterday. And for you late readers, that means, they share birthdays! Since she was 1 years old she has visited Boots, in hospital or home, on their shared day. They hug. May hold hands, but will just sit with each other and share by presence their special March 4 day! I like the idea of it. I’m in love with the image, as a matter of fact.
Now, that is quite an age gap that Mo’ struggles with comprehending, but she is nonetheless impressed with its weight. Today was their slated visit. Tonight Mo’ returned and pranced into my office and KABLAM, this is how she rolls:
Me: “So how was it?”
Mo: “Great. She looks fantastic. Very healthy.”
Me: ”So how old is she again?”
Mo: “99 years old. Wouldn’t guess it though.”
Me: “Why? What do you think you are gonna be like when you are that old?”
Mo: “Well according to Marvelous Mo’s Website, I might not make it to that age… so it’s a guess. Should we ask google? I’m outta answers.”
Mo’ then exited my room. And again… I am speechless… Now wait a minute, readers, followers, passer-by-erers… hold up! I fell your dissention. Isn’t she cute? She really doesn’t like that Moms is posting all her on-goings to the world…Um.. let’s see .. ticker says 30 people (maybe) have religiously visited our myopic world of Mo’. But out of you 25 — I may actually account for 5 of those people, depending on the machine I drop-by on — She has 25 fooled.
That girl, woe-is-not-her, is crafty, a pistol, sarcastic, brilliant, and rolls her eyes way too well for a 7 year old. Puts any 17 year old out of momma-gonna-smack-your-face-if-you-roll-your-eyes-again contention. She is the “curse” that my mother bestowed on me when i was a child when she said “I hope you have a child just like you! No 10 times worse!“ Furthermore, that curse is compounded by the curse that Hub’s mother put oh him with a lil’ patoohey for sticking power! Bear in mind friends.. until you see how this girl is LIVE, I could never exactly relay what a true smart-ass she is…
Alas, I will try. Until then… I am stumped.

I can’t believe that Boots is still with us. Wish I’d known it was such a special birthday for her – 99. If she makes it for another year, please remind me, so I may send her a birthday card. She is a dear soul. How special that Mo and Boots share their day.
